  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 20 g fresh root ginger, peeled, cut in round slices (2 mm)

  • 1 red chilli, halved, seeds removed
  • 50 g spring onions, cut in pieces, plus 1 finely sliced for garnishing
  • ½ vegetable stock cube (for 0.5 l), crumbled (see tip)
    ou ½ tsp vegetable stock paste, homemade
  • 30 g hoisin sauce
  • 200 g water
